Read thisThe figure is tied to one hazard. A July 2025 monsoon alert, as reported by the state broadcaster, said to stock supplies for 3 to 5 days, but we could not find that alert in the authority's own copy. Its flood guidelines, reissued in June 2026, advise a kit with no number of days.

Pakistan's disaster authority says to make a supply kit with enough food and water for at least three days in its earthquake guidelines, most recently the 2026 edition. We found no general figure for all emergencies.
