days

Belgium's National Crisis Centre recommends enough drinking water and food to manage on your own for at least 72 hours (3 days). Its kit page used to speak of a few hours, and a new brochure followed on 1 October 2026.

Also always make sure you have enough drinking water and food to carry on independently for at least 72 hours.
