Austria

At least 10–14 days (blackout advice)

National, with limits

10–14

days

Read thisThe federal wording is on a blackout page. Broader stock advice comes from civil-protection associations.

Austria's federal portal advises food and water for at least 10 to 14 days, on a page about blackouts. Until spring 2025 the same page said at least 14 days. Civil-protection associations, which are not government departments, give similar general advice.

“Jede/jeder sollte für einen Wasservorrat sowie einen Lebensmittelvorrat für alle Familienmitglieder und für mindestens 10 - 14 Tage vorsorgen.”

Everyone should make provision for a water supply and a food supply for all family members, for at least 10 to 14 days.
