Read thisOfficial sources differ on water. The defence ministry's booklet says 9 to 12 litres per adult for three days, and a 2025 copy of the national site says 6 litres per person for 72 hours.

Lithuania's national preparedness site says each person should be able to look after themselves and their family for at least 72 hours until help arrives. The defence ministry's 2024 booklet asks for at least three days of food.

“Kiekvienas iš mūsų turi pasirūpinti savimi ir artimaisiais bent 72 valandas, kol atvyks pagalba.”

Each of us must look after ourselves and our loved ones for at least 72 hours until help arrives.
